Bass-Baritone David Mimran set aside his career as a lawyer in Paris to sing opera in New York, armed with the knowledge of eight languages.
His great vocal flexibility, natural acting skills and fluency in Italian, German, English and French allow him to interpret the great character and buffa roles with intention and nuance. He also has strong affinities with Baroque Oratorio and the German Romantic repertoire.
On stage he has impersonated Fiorello, Sagrestano, Benoît & Alcindoro, Ceprano, Niejus, Cascada, Sarastro, Figaro, Antonio, Morales, Zuniga, Frank, Achille and Melisso.
